cozy comfort with kind hospitality and spotless cleanliness
Ian and Phoebe are such genuine hosts. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and well-equipped shared bathroom. Great location, just a short walk from the train station.

The Victorian charm of the property added a delightful character to my stay.
The shared bathroom situation was somewhat inconvenient, especially during busy times.

Charming atmosphere and cozy beds made my stay enjoyable. Ian's hospitality stood out, always willing to help and chat. The location near the train station was super convenient. The shared bathrooms were incredibly clean, but the limited number felt inadequate for the amount of guests. Room size was quite small, and noise from adjacent rooms occasionally interrupted my sleep. I didn't even realize there was a kitchen available, which could have been useful. it had its quirks but definitely a memorable stay.

Barrow-in-Furness vibes 🌊✨
Super friendly owner, Ian, was like a chommie at the bar. Felt right at home, got chilled water on request and he really had my back when I lost my key. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was flippin comfy! Close to the park and not far from the train station. Lekker location!

We visited the South Lakes Safari Zoo, which was a hit with the kids. The rooms were clean and well-kept, making it easy to come back after a long day out. The hosts were accommodating and welcoming to our large family.
My kids wished for more bathrooms.

Absolutely loved how cozy the Budget Single Room felt! 😊 The staff were super nice, and the whole place was immaculate. Only downside? My room faced the street, so there was a bit of traffic noise at times.

Had a great time with friends! The guest house is located close to great eateries and shopping. We visited the South Lakes Safari Zoo and enjoyed some outdoor fun nearby. The place was cozy and clean. Definitely recommend it for a laid-back group trip!
The only downside was sharing the bathroom with a few other rooms, which might not suit everyone’s comfort level.

Affordable room rates, proximity to transport hubs, immaculate cleanliness
Extremely small rooms!!! One bathroom for four rooms feels severely inadequate!!! Loud noise from outside traffic and thin walls disrupts peace!!! Shared facilities could use better maintenance and cleaning consistency!!!

The location was super convenient, being close to the train station and just opposite a massive park. The ambiance was cozy and quiet, which made for a great stay. The owners showed excellent communication regarding check-in, and their pride in the establishment was evident, making it feel welcoming.
Parking was a bit tricky to navigate, especially during peak times.
